Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 400 g roasted Kunafa dough, coarsely chopped or broken
- 3 milk chocolate bars (85-115 g each), coarsely chopped
- 3 dark chocolate bars (85-115 g each), coarsely chopped
- 3/4 cup pistachio cream
- 1/2 cup tahini
Instructions
-
Melt the chocolate: Place all the chopped chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl and melt the chocolate in the microwave for 2 minutes. Stop halfway to stir. Stir when done until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
-
Prepare the chocolate mold: Pour a thin layer of the melted chocolate into each compartment of a chocolate mold. Make sure there is still plenty of space left in each compartment. Place the mold in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to let the chocolate set.
-
Mix the filling: Combine the roasted Kunafa, pistachio cream, and tahini in a large bowl. Mix well so that everything is evenly distributed.
-
Fill the chocolate mold: Remove the chocolate mold from the refrigerator. Fill each compartment with a thick layer of the kunafa mixture. Use a spoon to flatten the mixture. Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the kunafa mixture and spread it evenly. Place the molds back in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour to let the chocolate set completely.
-
Serve: Remove the chocolate bars from the molds. Store them in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Enjoy your delicious chocolate kunafa!
